Painted by hand in Waitākere
I'm Amanda. I paint kiwiana pop art and sell it straight to the people who want to hang it.
Every canvas starts with the same idea: New Zealand, cut into flat shards of colour and outlined in thick black marker. The two islands, koru spirals, tūī and fantails. The colours come straight out of the tube.
I work from a home studio in Waitākere, Auckland. Originals are one-offs and are never reprinted. When one sells it is gone. Alongside the regular work I take four commissions a month.
Everything ships flat and boxed anywhere in New Zealand. If you would like to see the work in person, market dates go up on Instagram first.
